Paul Mahoney completed his Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship at the prestigious Ballarat School of Mines. In his 20s, Paul honed his craft working in Sydney for Qantas, where he specialized in aircraft spraying—a role that demanded precision and attention to detail.
He later relocated to Sunraysia with his family to establish his own painting business, bringing his expertise and dedication to the local community. Paul is a highly respected painter in the region, known for his commitment to delivering exceptional results and maintaining high standards in every project he undertakes.
Spiro Fililava: Award-Winning Painter with an Eye for Detail

Spiro Fililava began his journey in the painting industry with a School-Based Apprenticeship in 2015. By 2018, he had successfully completed his Painting and Decorating trade at Bendigo Kangan Institute, where he was proudly recognized as Apprentice of the Year—a testament to his skill and dedication.
An artist in his trade, Spiro is known for his exceptional attention to detail, which shines through in every project he undertakes. His passion for painting and commitment to quality make him an invaluable part of the Mahoney and Fililava Painting team.
